Taylor Davis joined Davis Automotive Group in March 2020. Taylor focuses on a broad range of initiatives around the Davis campus. Taylor's mission is to learn the family business from the ground up, while providing a valuable outside perspective on issues both present and future. Taylor's experiences provide him an unbiased perspective that paves a smooth path towards finessing processes.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Taylor graduated in 2014 from Elon University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Following graduation, Taylor moved to Chicago for a role with Deloitte in their external audit group, where his focus was on financial services. After two years with Deloitte, he transitioned to finance/accounting/consulting recruiting with Access Search, a boutique permanent placement search firm. After three and a half years with Access Search, Taylor made the move back home to fulfill his lifelong goal of learning, and ultimately running the Davis family business.
Outside of work, you can find Taylor at the track with one of his cars, running, cooking, golfing, and cheering on all three Cleveland sports teams.
Theresa Matrisciano is the Director of Human Resources. She joined the company in June 2020 and has full responsibility for all Human Resources, Compliance, and Legal.
Marty Sharp is The BMW General Sales Manager. He joined Davis Automotive in July 2016 as Finance Manager and was promoted to his current position in April 2017. He directs the daily sales operations for BMW Cleveland and supervises the sales staff.
Marty has worked in finance, sales, and customer service throughout his entire career. He began in the mortgage industry where he was a top loan originator for over 20 years, spending most of this time at Wells Fargo. His success allowed him to work for a few different lending institutions and provided numerous accolades for both sales and customer service. A downturn in the housing market led to a career change and he transitioned to the automotive industry in 2011. He began as a Finance/Business Manager, using his lending expertise to serve a new type of client. He has worked for dealerships in Youngstown, Akron, and Solon including Hyundai, Chrysler, Infiniti, and BMW. Marty's experience with both sales and lending provides both a positive customer experience throughout the sales process and an understanding of the client's financial needs.
Marty has a B.S. in Business Management and has experience managing teams both professionally and recreationally. As an award-winning baseball player in Trumbull County and college baseball player for Northwood University of Texas, he utilized his skill and love of the game to coach various youth baseball and fastpitch softball teams. In addition to baseball, Marty enjoys fishing, reading, spending time with his family and friends, and his dogs.
Daniel Cowan joined Davis Automotive Group in 2018. He is a Sales Manager for BMW where he fosters a dynamic and positive environment for his team, all employees, and customers alike.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, Daniel grew up between Northeast Ohio and St. Petersburg, Florida before graduating with Honors from The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Financial Planning and Consumer Affairs.
Shortly after graduating, Daniel began his career in the Automotive Industry and has consistently been recognized and awarded for his achievements in customer service, sales, and management. As a consultant, Daniel helped research, set objectives, implement policies, and evaluate industry leading best practices for some of the largest Automotive Groups in the United States.
Known for his robust sense of humor and ability to bring light to a room, Dan is a lifelong learner with a passion to manage, mentor and motivate. Daniel enjoys helping others and adding value to those around him.
Jay Hoegler joined Davis Automotive Group in May 2017. He is the BMW Pre-Owned Sales Manager. Jay and his team foster an environment of respect, trust and loyalty for our valued customers.
He is a graduate of Kent State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Finance. Jay began his career in the auto industry at Clarke Ford in Hudson, Ohio. A career professional, Jay has been in the automobile industry since.
Jay is a lifelong Northeast Ohioan who makes his home in Solon with his wife and 3 children. He is an avid golfer; a member of the Solon Athletic Boosters; and a Solon Band Program supporter.
