History:Davis Automotive Group, Inc. was founded in 1991 to acquire Jaguar Cleveland. At the time of the acquisition, Jaguar Cleveland represented; Jaguar, Volvo, BMW and Range Rover. In 1991 European automobiles were very much out of favor, having been upstaged by Lexus and Infinity who offered high quality automobiles at very reasonable prices, and more importantly changed forever the way car dealers treat their customers. As the new owners of Jaguar Cleveland we realized that to be successful at selling the lines represented required the same approach as the customers have been used to getting from organizations like; Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom's, FedEx, Starbucks and on and on. Not knowing the industry was beneficial in bringing fresh ideas into the organization, and building trust both with the staff and the customers. Since 1991 the manufacturers we represent have made strides we could only imagine. They are now at the top of the industry in quality, styling and value. Their main focus has and continues to be providing a level of service that is second to none. As a result of the efforts and commitment of the staff of Davis Employees and the exciting new products the volume of business required a new facility. In August of 1997 Davis Automotive Group, Inc. moved from the location in Cleveland Heights, where the business had been for over forty years, to Solon, Ohio. BMW, Land Rover and Jaguar each line has there own building and dedicated staff on 8 acres at US422 and SOM Center Road interchanges. Future:The result of all this hard work has been very gratifying. We have recently been awarded the prestigious BMW Center of Excellence award for the third year in a row. Our Customer Satisfaction Surveys, administered by the manufacturers, has rated at or near the top in every category. But as with any business there is change. We are committed to being a leader in our industry by anticipating changes that will be required to maintain the loyalty of our customer and earn the business of new customers. Avenues such as the Internet are useful tools in gathering information when contemplating the purchase of almost anything. Product information is very important, but so is where you will actually purchase the product or service. Time spent visiting the provider is time well spent, because the service provided, either in helping you make a final decision or getting a repair, will truly enhance your ownership experience.
